Abstract:

At Eclipse Con 2008, we discussed the new e4 project - the future of Eclipse. Since then much has happened: the project has been created, groups have formed to tackle specific areas and working code and demos have been produced. We will outline the goals of the e4 project and provide a one stop status on progress made over the year. Finally, we will outline next steps in the evolution of e4.
