Abstract:

Eclipse EMF Search is a project aiming to provide an Eclipse Search integration for EMF Models to developers & end users.

Meta Tooling is a paradigm meaning EMF Search frameworks & features are heavily relying on Ecore meta model and provide code generation facilities to produce specific extensions of these frameworks for arbitrary user defined Ecore models.

In this example we will demo the code generation allowing to produce a textual Search/Replace infrastructure for a given user model.

Primary focus will consist in configuring the code generator by selecting a subset of textual feature and then using code produced on sample data in a runtime workbench.
