Introduction to Scala Developer Tools (SDT)

Developers from LAMP created a second Eclipse plugin that offers support for Scala development, entitled the Scala Developer Tools (SDT). This plugin is a first attempt to build a high quality IDE for Scala on top of Eclipse. Daniel Spiewak created a short screencast to illustrate some of the highlights of the plugin's new editor. No attempt was made to hide the bugs which cropped up during testing, so the screencast should give a fair approximation of the current state of the plugin and whether it’s worth trying for your own projects.
