Abstract:

This webinar will introduce you to the basic concepts of Facelets and will walk you through the process of building a Facelets web application using the tooling provided by the JSF Tools Project and the JSF Facelets Tools incubator project.

The JavaServer Faces (JSF) Tools project is a sub-project under the Web Tools Platform (WTP) project. It provides tools to simplify the development of a JSF web application. The JSF Facelets Tools project is an incubator project of the JSF Tools project that adds support for building JSF applications using Facelets. Facelets is a popular view handler that uses XHTML syntax (instead of JSP) to define a JSF page. The JSF Facelets Tools incubator project enables the current features of the JSF Tools Project for Facelets.

Total running time 56:37 minutes
