Abstract:

The Android platform is a software stack for mobile devices. In this two-part screencast you are going to see how to install and use the Android SDK to develop a simple Android application using the Java programming language and Eclipse IDE plugin.

The first screencast shows how to install SDK, configure the Eclipse plugin and run sample Android applications. Total running time 03:00 minutes.

The second tutorial covers new project creation in Eclipse, the use of Android emulator, content model, permissions and navigation model. Total running time 02:50 minutes.
