The Dali Java Persistence API (JPA) Tools Project is an incubating sub-project of the Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project that provides tools to support the development of Java applications that use the new JPA object-relational mapping standard to interact with relational databases. This webinar will introduce the Dali tools and show how they can be used to build, debug, and deploy JPA based applications. Development for both Java SE and Java EE environments will be demonstrated. A preview of some of the new features coming in Dali 1.0 will also be shown.
Total running time 1 hour, 01:16 minutes
Thanks to Adobe for contributing their Adobe Acrobat Connect product to host this webinar.

The Dali code is now bundled with the WTP code. There isn't a separate distribution right now. For further help, you can check out the Dali newsgroup at eclipse.technology.dali.

Great products,
Dali supports a number of different JPA development and deployment scenarios including EJB, Web, and plain old Java.
The key difference between these scenarios is the configuration of the run-time classpath environment. When your application is running inside a Java EE or Servlet container, it inherits some JAR files from the container.
